§ 6-11. Unauthorized burial; obedience to cemetery officers.

If the city sexton or any other sexton or person shall bury or attempt to bury any dead body in any unsold lot, or in any lot belonging to another, in the Pontiac Cemetery or in any other cemetery in the city, without permission in writing from the owner of the lot, or if any person shall resist the city sexton or any cemetery special policeman in the execution of his duty or shall neglect or refuse to obey the lawful directions of such officer, such person shall be punished as provided in section 1-11 of this Code.
