§ 19-49. Vehicles left in street.

No motor vehicle or other vehicle of any kind or description or any part of a vehicle shall be permitted to remain or stand in the streets or alleys of the city for more than 24 hours for any purpose, except motor vehicles lawfully parked at places where parking for a longer period is permitted, and any owner thereof in violation of this section shall be subject to punishment as provided in section 1-11 of this Code. Any such motor vehicle or other vehicle or any detached part of a vehicle may be removed by the administrator or his designee as provided in section 19-47.
