§ 14-243. Fraudulent practices by auctioneers.

  • No auctioneer shall exhibit and offer for sale and sell at auction any article in lieu of that offered to and purchased by the bidder; or shall while engaged in or about the making of any auction sale be guilty of any device, trick or fraudulent practice with intent thereby to deceive or defraud any bidder.
