§ 3-76. Hours of operation.

  • (a)

    It shall be lawful to sell, offer for sale or serve on any licensed premises in the city any alcoholic liquor only between the following hours, and shall be unlawful at all other times unless a lawful extension of hours is granted as provided in this article:

    (1)

    Between 6:00 a.m. on Monday through 1:00 a.m. on the following Tuesday.

    (2)

    Between 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday through 1:00 a.m. on the following Wednesday.

    (3)

    Between 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday through 1:00 a.m. on the following Thursday.

    (4)

    Between 6:00 a.m. on Thursday through 1:00 a.m. on the following Friday.

    (5)

    Between 6:00 a.m. on Friday through 1:00 a.m. on the following Saturday.

    (6)

    Between 6:00 a.m. on Saturday through 1:00 a.m. on the following Sunday.

    (7)

    Between 12:00 noon on Sunday through 1:00 a.m. on the following Monday.

    (b)

    Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (a) of this section, it shall be lawful to continue sales of alcoholic liquor through 2:00 a.m. on January 1 of each year.

    (c)

    It shall be unlawful for any patron or other individual not necessary for the operation of the business to remain on a licensed premises for longer than one-half hour after the times stated in subsections (a) and (b) of this section after which it is unlawful to sell, offer for sale or serve any alcoholic liquor on the premises.
