§ 19-5. Damaging street signs or other city property.

(a)

Whoever shall break, deface, remove, destroy or otherwise injure any sign or marker placed in any public street or avenue for the purpose of designating the name of such street or avenue shall be subject to punishment as provided in section 1-11 of this Code.

(b)

Whoever shall break, deface, remove, destroy or otherwise damage city-owned trash receptacles or any other city property not otherwise included in this chapter shall be subject to punishment as provided in section 1-11 of this Code.
