§ 16-1. State law misdemeanors adopted by reference.

There are hereby adopted by reference, as if set out at length in this Code, those provisions of Ill. Rev. Stat. ch. 38 which declare any act or failure to act a misdemeanor. Violation of any such provision shall constitute a violation of this Code and shall subject the violator thereof to punishment as provided in section 1-11 of this Code.
