§ 14-237. Penalty for violation of article.

Any person violating any provision of this article shall be subject to a fine in an amount not less than $100.00 nor more than as provided in section 1-11 of this Code for each offense. Each day in which a violation continues shall be deemed to be a separate offense. In determining the amount of the fine to be imposed, the court shall consider the nature of the violation, whether the violation occurred on an isolated or ongoing basis, whether the health, safety or welfare of the public was endangered by the violation and any prior violations.
